Russia’s invasion of Ukraine
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) Russian troops closed in in the region of Kyiv and skirmishes flared concerning its outskirts Saturday as Ukraines leader vowed to continue battling an assault by a much greater than before-armed adversary.
Terrified men, women and children sought safety inside and underground in the midst of a 39-hour curfew the running imposed to save people off the streets.
The United Nations said anew 150,000 Ukrainians had fled for Poland, Moldova and subsidiary against countries and warned the number could ensue to 4 million if conflict escalates.
We will broil for as long as needed to liberate our country, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy promised.

To aid Ukraines gaining to sticking to out, the U.S. pledged a further $350 million in military make aware to Ukraine regarding Saturday, including versus-tank weapons, body armor and small arms. And Germany also said it would send shells and all along-tank weapons to the besieged country.
